5.8 Earthquake Hits India

AN earthquake of magnitude 5.8 has shaken parts of India’s remote northeast.
There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

India’s Meteorological Department says the quake occurred on India’s
border with Burma this morning.

Tremors were felt in the states of Assam and Manipur.
