HANOI, Vietnam – Vietnam’s government says a tropical storm that hit the country has killed four people and left 10 others missing.

The national floods and storms control committee says tropical storm Mindulle also injured 20 others when it slammed the north-central coast on Tuesday.

A disaster official in central Danang City said Wednesday that authorities are still searching for 10 crew of a fishing boat that went missing while seeking shelter.

The government says the storm damaged more than 4,000 houses and 62,000 acres (25,000 hectares) of rice fields.

Mindulle has been downgraded to a low depression and was expected to dissipate later Wednesday.
